Periodontics is the field of dentistry that focuses on the area surrounding the teeth: the bone and gingiva (gums).
Dr. Mike Wasemiller specializes in dental implants and periodontal procedures along with advanced minimally invasive sinus lift techniques.
Originally from the midwest, Dr. Wasemiller received both his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and completed his Postdoctoral training in Advanced Periodontics from Loma Linda University. He is also trained intensively in use of guided surgery techniques for dental implant placement, as well as minimally invasive techniques for sinus lifts. Dr. Wasemiller served as a part-time faculty at Loma Linda University and was in private practice both in Minnesota and Southern California. Today, Mike maintains a private practice limited to Dental Implants and Periodontology at The Beverly Dentistry.
He makes sure that you feel comfortable and at ease, and your dental health is his priority.
Dr. Wasemiller believes that understanding good home care is the foundation to maintaining a healthy mouth as well as maintaining the results from any periodontal work that has been done.
In his leisure time, Mike enjoys trying new restaurants, going to concerts, and spending time at the beach. He also trains for triathlons and enjoys getting back to the midwest to spend time at the lakes with family and friends.
